Teejay Sunglao – CEO & Founder
Teejay Sunglao is the Founder and CEO of PhlebCARE Mobile Phlebotomy, leading with a mission to expand access to quality healthcare through innovative mobile laboratory solutions. With nearly two decades of service as an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy, Teejay brings a unique blend of discipline, leadership, and commitment to excellence into every aspect of his work.
Beyond PhlebCARE, Teejay serves as Vice President of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce – Greater San Diego and Co-Director of the Veterans Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Chapter. In these roles, he actively champions entrepreneurship, minority-owned businesses, and veteran-led initiatives across the region.
His vision for PhlebCARE, combined with his broader leadership efforts, reflects his dedication to service, innovation, and lasting community impact.
Sheryl Sunglao – COO & Co-Founder
Sheryl Sunglao is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of PhlebCARE Mobile Phlebotomy, bringing more than 13 years of experience as a certified phlebotomist. Throughout her career, she has served as a lead phlebotomist, recognized for her precision, patient-centered approach, and ability to mentor and guide other professionals in the field.
At PhlebCARE, Sheryl oversees operations and leads the clinical team, ensuring every patient interaction reflects the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Her expertise and leadership have been instrumental in building PhlebCARE’s reputation for reliability, compassion, and excellence in mobile phlebotomy services.
Dr. Huy Ho, MD – Medical Lab Director
Dr. Huy Ho, a San Diego native, earned his undergraduate degree from UC San Diego and his medical degree from St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada, before completing residency training at Long Island College Hospital in New York and UCSF Fresno.
He has practiced medicine at respected institutions including Tri City Medical Center, Scripps Encinitas, and Sharp Memorial, later spending 13 years with Sharp-Rees Stealy in Downtown San Diego where he became a trusted physician in the community.
In 2018, Dr. Ho founded H Squared Health, a medical practice dedicated to bringing accessible, high-quality care to patients in their homes, senior living communities, and assisted living facilities. Today, H Squared Health continues to serve patients across San Diego County with compassionate, efficient, and personalized care.
